Important!
Important!
A primer or undercoat is a preparatory coating put on the surface before topcoat paint. Why is it important?
Pro Tip! It may not be necessary to primer previously painted surface except to "spot prime" areas where paint has peeled off.
Corners first:
Dip your brush in the paint, remove excess paint.
Important! Maintain a wet edge with the painted corner so your roller can blend into the brushed paint.
After corners, it's time to paint the areas where a roller brush will be used. To put paint on your roller brush:
Start from where you cut in (#4) and roll across the wall. For best results, roll as far into the brushed area as possible.
Pro Tip! Paint in a 'W' motion
This will ensure an even distribution across your wall.
After painting the first coat, observe the inter-coat time then apply second or third coats as needed.
When done, peel tape off on areas you may have applied it to.
Important!
Do not let the paint dry before peeling tape as this may also tear the paint off.
