UNIVERSAL AQUASHIELD CEMENTITIOUS WATERPROOFING COATING is a premium flexible cementitious coating.  UNIVERSAL AQUASHIELD dries to an extremely durable, flexible and tough cementitious finish. It is for both vertical and horizontal applications like high-rise exterior walls, firewall, roof decks and balconies, toilet and bathrooms.  UNIVERSAL AQUASHIELD ensures protection where water and water ponding is expected.

Best for:

Note (horizontal application): for best waterproofing results, sandwich Universal AquaShield between the surface and cement topping or tiles.

Application: brush or roller 

Painting Guide:

New or unpainted surface

·         Remove dirt, dust, grit, loose mortar, oil, grease, and other contaminants.

·         New concrete must be cured at least 28 days before paint application.

·         Please follow manufacturer’s recommendation on proper curing of cement.

Old or previously painted surface

·         Remove all loose, peeling, chalking or blistering paint, dirt, dust, grease, oil, and other contaminants. 

·         Treat mold or fungus infestation with bleaching solution (1 part bleach and 3 parts water).

·         Wipe clean the surface before paint application.

Application:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Apply when temperatures are between 10º to 37ºC. Do not apply paint if rain is imminent or forecast within 24 hours of application.

Vertical Application (walls)

·         Mix 4 kgs. of Portland Cement to 4 liters of Universal AquaShield AQS-800.  Mix well using mechanical stirrer.

·         Apply at least 2 coats of Universal AquaShield AQS-800.

·         Allow 1-2 hours intercoat interval.

Horizontal Application

·         Mix 4kgs. of Cement to 4 liters of Universal AquaShield AQS-800. 

·         Mix well with mechanical stirrer.

·         For best result: Apply 5 coats of Universal AquaShield AQS-800.

·         Allow 1-2 hours intercoat interval
